How do I swap crypto on Breet?
Crypto Swap lets you exchange one cryptocurrency for another directly on Breet. With over 170 supported cryptocurrencies
available, here is how to do it.
Step 1. Pick your cryptocurrencies
Log in to your account and select the cryptocurrencies you want to exchange (e.g. Ethereum to Bitcoin). Enter the amount
and Breet will show you how much you will receive. Tap "Proceed" when ready.
You can choose between two exchange rate types:
- Fixed: You receive the exact amount shown, regardless of market movement.
- Floating: The final amount may vary depending on the exchange rate when your deposit is received.
Step 2. Enter the receiving address
Every cryptocurrency has its own wallet address. Your receiving address is the wallet address where your exchanged
crypto will be sent after the swap is complete.
For example, if you are exchanging Litecoin for Dogecoin, you need to provide your Dogecoin wallet address.
Enter the receiving wallet address or scan a QR code.
You can also use your Breet wallet address as the recipient if the coin is supported on Breet's crypto-to-cash channel.
Any crypto sent to your Breet address will be automatically converted to Naira, Cedis, or USD depending on your crypto
settings.
Please Note: Always double-check the recipient address before proceeding. Sending to the wrong address cannot be
reversed. Also ensure you are not sending the wrong cryptocurrency to the provided address. If you do, Breet may not be
able to refund it.
Step 3. Confirm the transaction details
Review all the details you entered. If everything looks correct, tap "Finish Exchange" to start the exchange. Breet will
then wait for your deposit.
Please Note: If you selected Fixed rate, send your deposit promptly. The exchange expires after 15 minutes if no deposit
is received. If you selected Floating rate, sending sooner gives you a better chance of receiving the expected amount.
Step 4. Make the deposit
The exchange status will show "Awaiting Deposit". Send the exact amount of cryptocurrency shown to the Breet-generated
deposit address. You can also scan the QR code to make the deposit.
Please Note: Send the exact amount shown. Sending the wrong amount may affect how the exchange is processed. If you send
the wrong amount, contact support via in-app chat or email support@breet.app and a refund will be issued.
Step 5. Wait to receive your coin
Once your deposit is detected on the network, the status will change to "Confirming Deposit". This usually takes a few
minutes. The countdown timer will stop at this point if you selected Fixed rate.
After confirmation, the status will move through "Exchanging", then "Sending", and finally "Successful". Once complete,
the cryptocurrency has been sent to the recipient address.

support@breet.app and the exchange will be processed manually.
