What is Night Mode?

The temperature of your birdhouse slowly increases slowly over time, and you need to check on your birds and clean your birdhouse once every few hours. However, sometimes, life gets in the way and you have commitments that could keep you from checking on your birdhouse for several hours (or maybe you simply need to sleep). This is where Night Mode comes to the rescue. When you turn on Night Mode, your birdhouse is automatically cleaned for you, and the temperature is kept cool and stable. This lasts for 6 hours, after which Night Mode turns off automatically (we'll send you a notification). Note, you can only use Night Mode once a day.

My birdhouse is running hot. What do I do?

Simply log in and clean your birdhouse. Cleaning your birdhouse cools the temperature of your birdhouse to a conducive level for your birds, and allows your birds to resume laying eggs.

What happens if I don't check on my birdhouse regularly?

You are responsible for caring for the birds in your birdhouse, and they rely on you for their health and comfort. When your birdhouse gets too hot (because you're not checking it to keep it clean), your birds will stop laying new eggs. Now, when you do clean the birdhouse, egg-laying resumes. However, you've lost out on the eggs that could have been laid for you during the period the birdhouse was too hot, and the coins you would have received from selling said eggs. We'll send you notifications when your birdhouse is starting to get hot, and we'll send another when the temperature inside your birdhouse has passed the critical temperature (42°C), at which point egg-laying stops.

Will my birds die if my birdhouse gets too hot?

No. Your birds only stop laying eggs when your birdhouse gets too hot, and resume laying when you clean your birdhouse again.

How do I sell eggs laid by my birds?

To sell eggs: 1. Go to your "Bird House". 2. Go to the "Sell Eggs" section. 3. Enter the amount of eggs you wish to sell, or press "Max" to sell all the eggs you have in your storage. Note that you can only sell eggs you've collected into storage. So, when your birds lay eggs, remember to collect them. 4. Press "Sell Eggs". 5. Your eggs will be automatically sold on the market for you and the coins will be deposited into your account balance immediately.

At what temperature is my birdhouse considered too hot and egg-laying stops?

The maximum healthy temperature is 42°C. Once your birdhouse temperature exceeds this, your birdhouse is considered too hot and egg-laying stops. Remember to check on your birds often to clean your birdhouse and keep the temperature low.

Yes, you absolutely can - you'll be able to select the quantity of birds you're buying at the bird market.

What happens if my bird dies?

Each bird has a lifespan which shows how long your bird will live and lay eggs for you after you buy it and it is delivered to your birdhouse (you'll be able to see the lifespan before you buy the bird). At the end of your bird's lifespan, it dies, and is removed from your birdhouse. We'll always send you an email and a notification to your device (if you've set up push notifications) letting you know when one of your birds has died. If your bird dies before you collect the eggs it has laid, we'll automatically collect those eggs for you and put them in your birdhouse storage for you to sell.

How do I collect eggs laid by my birds?

When your birds lay eggs, you need to collect them and put them into your birdhouse storage for safekeeping. You can only sell eggs you've put into storage. To collect eggs laid by your birds, simply go to your birdhouse, then go to the bird(s) whose eggs you wish to collect into storage and press "Collect Eggs".

What's the maximum number of birds I can buy?

Each bird specie has different limits. Please see the table below: Flippy Birds You can only buy 2 Flippy birds, total. Once you've bought up to 2, you can no longer buy additional Flippy birds, at all. Frosty Birds You can only have 3 Frosty birds in your birdhouse at a time. When your Frosty birds die, you can buy more to replace them, but the most you can have in your birdhouse at any one time is 3. Fruity Birds You can only have 2 Fruity birds in your birdhouse at a time. When your Fruity birds die, you can buy more to replace them, but the most you can have in your birdhouse at any one time is 2.

I didn't get the amount of eggs I expected from my bird. Why?

It is important that you clean your birdhouse regularly and consistently. When you leave your birdhouse to get hot and unhealthy often, your birds stop laying eggs until you clean your birdhouse again. When your birds aren't laying, that costs you as you no longer get eggs you would normally be getting. Players who are consistent and diligent with their birds often end up with at least the correct number of eggs by their birds, and sometimes, even a little extra. Your cozy friends rely on you for their care. Look after them, and reap the rewards.

How do I check when my bird(s) will die?

In your birdhouse, go to the bird specie you wish to get check (e.g Flippy bird), then click on "View Inventory. This will show a list of birds you have under that specie, as well as when you bought them and when they'll die.

Does Night Mode slow down egg production?

No, it doesn't. Night Mode simply keeps your birdhouse clean and cool for 6 hours at a time, so you can attend to other things.
