Tonkeeper is the most popular non-custodial wallet for the TON blockchain. It stores your TON, FRT, and other TON
tokens, and lets you connect to dApps like forton.app. This guide shows how to install Tonkeeper, create a wallet,
secure your seed phrase, and fund it with TON.

📥 Step 1 — Download Tonkeeper
Always download from official sources only. Fake wallet apps are the #1 cause of stolen funds.

🚀 Step 2 — Create a New Wallet
1. Open Tonkeeper and tap Create New Wallet
2. Set a passcode (4–6 digits) — used to unlock the app on this device
3. Enable Face ID / Fingerprint (optional, recommended)
4. Tonkeeper will show your 24-word recovery phrase
🔐 Step 3 — Save Your Recovery Phrase
This is the most important step. Your 24-word recovery phrase is the ONLY way to restore your wallet if you lose your
phone.
✅ Do:
- Write the 24 words on paper, in order
- Store the paper in a safe place (preferably 2 copies in different locations)
- Double-check spelling — one wrong word = no recovery
❌ Never:
- Take a screenshot of the phrase
- Save it in Notes, Google Drive, iCloud, email, or any cloud storage
- Send it to anyone — including "ForTon support", "Tonkeeper support", or admins
- Type it into any website except the official Tonkeeper recovery flow
⚠️ ForTon support will NEVER ask for your seed phrase. Anyone who does is a scammer.

After writing the phrase, Tonkeeper will ask you to confirm 3 random words. This proves you saved it correctly.
📬 Step 4 — Get Your Wallet Address
Once your wallet is created, you'll see your main screen with a 0 TON balance.
1. Tap Receive
2. Your TON address appears (starts with UQ... or EQ...)
3. Tap Copy Address or share the QR code

💰 Step 5 — Fund Your Wallet with TON
You need at least 2 TON to register on ForTon (1 TON for Level 1 + ~0.05–0.1 TON gas + reserve for future activations).
Option A — Buy TON on a centralized exchange (recommended for India/Bangladesh):
1. Register on MEXC, Bybit, OKX, or Bitrue
2. Deposit USDT via P2P (local currency → USDT) or bank transfer
3. Trade USDT → TON
4. Withdraw TON to your Tonkeeper address — IMPORTANT: select TON network (not ERC-20, not BEP-20)
5. Wait 1–3 minutes for the transaction to arrive
Option B — Buy directly inside Tonkeeper:
- Tap Buy in the app and follow the on-screen instructions (availability and rates depend on your region)
⚠️ Always send a small test transaction first (e.g., 0.5 TON) before transferring large amounts.
✅ Step 6 — Verify Your Setup
Before registering on ForTon, confirm:
- ✅ Wallet is created and unlocked with passcode
- ✅ Recovery phrase is written on paper and stored offline
- ✅ Wallet has at least 2 TON
- ✅ You can open the dApp browser inside Tonkeeper (bottom menu → Browser)
🛡 Security Best Practices
- 🔒 Never share your 24-word phrase with anyone
- 🔒 Never enter your phrase on any website that isn't the official Tonkeeper app
- 🔒 Bookmark forton.app — don't search for it on Google (fake sites use ads)
- 🔒 Enable biometric lock in Tonkeeper settings
