Moonworkers charges on a pay-per-payslip basis with no monthly base fee. There are four separate pricing structures depending on how you use the product.
Employer plan
The employer plan is for businesses running payroll for their own employees directly at payroll.moonworkers.co.uk.
1 employee: £6.49 per month
2 to 19 employees: £24.49 per month (flat rate)
20 to 50 employees: £24.49 + £1.49 per employee above 19
51 to 150 employees: £39.49 + £1.29 per employee above 50
151 or more employees: £69.49 + £0.99 per employee above 150
All tiers include RTI submissions, auto-enrolment, and all statutory payment types. There is no separate charge for HMRC submissions.
Accountant plan
The accountant plan is for payroll bureaus and accountants running payroll for multiple client employers. Pricing is per payslip per month, with volume tiers:
Up to 100 payslips: £1.69 per payslip
101 to 200 payslips: £1.49 per payslip
201 to 500 payslips: £1.29 per payslip
501 to 1,000 payslips: £0.99 per payslip
1,001 to 5,000 payslips: £0.69 per payslip
5,001 or more payslips: £0.49 per payslip
Instant Payslip
Instant Payslip is a one-off payslip generator with no subscription. Each payslip costs £3.99 + VAT. No account is required. The generator is available at online-payslips.moonworkers.co.uk/generator.
Payroll API
The API sandbox is free to use with no approval required. Production API pricing is based on per-submission or per-payslip usage with no minimum commitment. Contact us for a production API quote. Enterprise pricing with custom SLA terms is available on request.
