Your employer settings hold everything Moonworkers needs to run payroll for your business, from your company details to how you pay and report to HMRC.
How to open your settings
There are two ways to reach your settings. From your dashboard, click your company logo or name to open Employer settings. You can also click the gear icon next to your employer profile.
The settings sections
Your settings are organised into seven tabs: Basic info, Payroll, HMRC / RTI, Time and attendance, Pension, Pay codes, and Company assets. This article covers Basic info, and the other tabs are covered in their own articles.
Company details and contact information
In Basic info you add your company contact details and a company logo. These appear on payslips and reports. Your current tax year is set during onboarding, when you run your first payrun on Moonworkers, and cannot be changed here.
Addresses
You can add several addresses and assign them to different employees, which is useful if your team works across more than one site.
Payslip display
In the Payroll tab you can choose what employees see on their payslip. You can show year-to-date (YTD) totals at the bottom of the payslip, and show each employee's remaining leave allowance. Save your settings to apply the change.
