No. Submissions go under Moonworkers' recognition. We are HMRC Recognised, and our software builds and sends the RTI, so you do not need recognition of your own to file through us.
What stays with us or our clients?
Authorisation. Government Gateway credentials are held per employer, so each client company keeps its own, and you file in whatever capacity applies. The RTI sender type supports Employer, Bureau and Agent.
Where are the credentials set?
On each employer's RTI submission settings. In the API, the gov_gateway_credentials_set field confirms credentials have been registered without ever returning them. See "HMRC-Recognised Software: What It Means" for what recognition covers.
