How to select the best channels for your business?
You’ll have a lot of options for channels to be present on for customer engagement. And mostly, businesses end up being on all––and mange them from Chatwoot. This is called omnichannel customer service.
However, if you’ve been doing this for a while, you will realize that your customers prefer 2-3 channels more than the others. When you identify such channels, it is recommended to stick to only them and optimize them for the best UX. This is called optichannel customer service.
Adding your second, third, and fourth channel on Chatwoot
Any channel you want to add, can be done in seconds. Go to Settings → Inboxes → Add Inbox.
You’ll see a list of inboxes to choose from. If you want to setup a particular channel, we recommend going through the specific guide. Find the list below.
