How do I set up my Breet account?

After signing up, complete your account setup to unlock all Breet features. Tap "Complete Account Setup" on your dashboard to get started.

Step 1. Create a transaction PIN

Tap "Create Transaction PIN", enter a 4-digit PIN, then tap "Save". This PIN will be required for all your transactions.

Step 2. Add your bank account

Select your bank, enter your account number, then tap "Save Account".

Step 3. Complete Basic KYC

Tap "Basic KYC" to begin identity verification.

  1. On the KYC page, tap "Continue" to proceed.

  2. Toggle on the Get Verified with Sumsub and tap "Continue" to proceed.

  3. Enter your email address and "Continue" to create your account with Sumsub then submit the required documents to complete the process.

Step 4. Complete Advanced KYC (optional)

Once your Basic KYC is approved, you can proceed to Advanced KYC to unlock higher withdrawal limits.

  1. Tap "Advanced KYC". and continue with Sumsub to submit the required document.

The required documents are:

  1. Selfie

  2. Phone number verification

  3. Proof of address verification. This includes Government statement, Voter registration, Tax bill, Utility bill, Bank letter, Bank statement, Lease Doc, University Letter.

Please Note: You must complete Basic KYC before you can proceed to Advanced KYC.

Step 5. Set up MFA

  1. Tap "MFA Authentication".

  2. Choose your preferred method: Authenticator App or Email OTP.

  3. Follow the on-screen steps to complete setup.

Please Note: Advanced KYC can only be completed after Basic KYC is approved.
