How do I set my default settlement wallet?

Last updated on Aug 08, 2026

Your default settlement wallet determines where incoming crypto deposits are credited after conversion. It is determined by the country you selected when you registered your business account. Nigerian businesses default to the NGN wallet, while Ghanaian businesses default to the GHS wallet.

Wallet options

Local Wallet (NGN or GHS)

This is the default setting. All deposits are converted and credited to your local wallet. Best for businesses that primarily settle in Naira or Cedis, or need funds readily available for local withdrawals.

USD Wallet

Deposits are converted to USD and credited to your USD wallet. Useful if your business wants to reduce local currency exposure, hold value in USD, or fund stablecoin-related flows.

How to change your default wallet

Go to Settings > Crypto Settings, select your preferred wallet, and save your changes.

Please Note: Changing your default wallet only affects new deposits. Deposits already received or in progress will follow the wallet setting that was active at the time they were made.
