Unlike device settings — which control the ERA Wallet as a whole — wallet settings allow you to customize and manage individual wallets.
Accessing Wallet Settings
-
Unlock your ERA Wallet.
-
Open the wallet you want to manage.
-
Press the Settings button in the top-right corner of the wallet screen.
Available Options
1. Passphrase Set a passphrase for additional security and privacy. See the Wallet Passphrase chapter for full instructions.
2. Linking Link your wallet to supported software wallets on iOS and Android via QR code. Supported wallets include: OKX, BitGet Wallet, MetaMask, Rabby, ImToken, Backpack, Nunchuck, Blue Wallet, Sparrow, Solflare, Generic ETH, Generic BTC, and Multi-Chain. Only public wallet information is transmitted — private keys never leave your ERA Wallet.
3. Wallet Password Set and/or change the password for this specific wallet. Note: In the ERA wallet, the device’s general password is used to unlock the device, and you can optionally set a separate wallet password to access each wallet.
4. Rename Wallet Change the display name of your wallet for easier identification.
5. Icon Change the wallet icon from a predefined list to customize its appearance.
6. Backup Create a secure backup of your wallet to an ERA Recovery Card. Backups are PIN-protected, ensuring maximum security and recovery capability.
7. Delete Wallet Permanently delete the wallet from your device. To confirm, press and hold the Confirm button for 4–5 seconds.
⚠️ Deleting a wallet is irreversible. Make sure you have a valid backup before proceeding.
