Wallets & Assets: Viewing and Managing Your Crypto Wallets and Assets

To view balances and manage transactions for wallets created or imported on your ERA Wallet, you must first complete a process called Linking. Why Linking Is Needed The ERA Wallet is an air-gapped, offline device with no internet or wireless connections, providing maximum security by keeping your private keys safe and never exposed. Since it cannot access the blockchain directly, the wallet uses a software wallet on your mobile device to scan transactions and display balances. This is done through Linking: - The ERA Wallet displays a QR code containing public wallet information - The software wallet scans the QR code to retrieve addresses and balances - Private keys are never shared β€” your security is fully preserved Supported Software Wallets You can link your ERA Wallet to any of the following supported software wallets: OKX Wallet, Bitget Wallet, MetaMask, Rabby, imToken, TokenPocket, Trust Wallet, BlueWallet, Sparrow, Solflare, and others. Generic Wallet Options ERA Wallet also provides generic options for linking to any compatible software wallet via QR code: - Generic Ethereum - Generic Bitcoin - Multi-chain (QR-based linking) These support an unlimited number of third-party wallets, as long as they follow the standard QR-based linking process. Linking a Wallet (Step-by-Step) 1. Unlock your ERA Wallet. 2. Select the wallet you want to link. 3. Enter the wallet password, if prompted. 4. From the wallet screen, press the Settings icon in the top-right corner (this is wallet settings, not device settings). 5. Select Link (second option in wallet settings). Selecting a Software Wallet 1. You will see a list of supported software wallets. 2. Use the search and filter at the top to select the blockchains you want to link β€” the list will update accordingly. 3. Select the desired software wallet (for example, OKX). Mobile App Selection 1. The device will ask whether you are using iOS or Android to provide the correct app download link. 2. If the app is already installed, you can skip this step. Completing the Link via QR Code 1. The device will display instructions for connecting to the selected software wallet. 2. Follow the instructions on your mobile phone. 3. On the ERA Wallet, press Show QR. 4. Open the selected software wallet app and scan the QR code displayed by your ERA Wallet. πŸ’‘ All linking is performed via QR codes regardless of the software wallet. Only public wallet information is transmitted β€” private keys are never shared. After Linking - You can view balances, tokens, and transaction history in the software wallet. - All transactions must still be signed on the ERA Wallet. - Your ERA Wallet remains the secure signing authority at all times.

Wallets & Assets: Wallet Passphrase

A wallet passphrase is an additional layer of security and anonymity for your ERA Wallet. - Even if someone obtains your seed phrase, they cannot access a wallet protected by a passphrase without knowing it. - Passphrases allow you to create multiple "hidden" wallets from the same seed, giving you flexibility, privacy, and enhanced protection. - This ensures maximum security while maintaining anonymity for your funds. Accessing the Passphrase Feature 1. Unlock your ERA Wallet. 2. Open the wallet you want to use. 3. From the main wallet page, press the Settings icon in the top-right corner. 4. On the first page of wallet settings, select Passphrase. Passphrase Options Once inside the Passphrase menu, you will see three options: Create β€” set up a new passphrase. Opens a QWERTY keyboard for entry. Enter your desired passphrase (any length), repeat it, and press OK. Press Done to confirm. Reset β€” remove or replace an existing passphrase. Indication β€” shows in the top bar whether a passphrase is currently active. Using Your Passphrase - Once created, the passphrase is applied to your wallet whenever signing transactions. - To verify, go to Deposit, select a blockchain (e.g., Ethereum), and check the wallet address β€” it will reflect the passphrase-protected wallet. - Transactions must still be signed on the ERA Wallet, keeping your private keys secure. ⚠️ The passphrase remains active while the device is powered on. If the device turns off, the passphrase is cleared for security and must be re-entered when powering back on.

Rename Wallet Change the display name of your wallet for easier identification. 5. Icon Change the wallet icon from a predefined list to customize its appearance. 6. Backup Create a secure backup of your wallet to an ERA Recovery Card. Backups are PIN-protected, ensuring maximum security and recovery capability. 7. Make sure you have a valid backup before proceeding.
